This is very interesting news --- is this cell the same size?  I.e. will
it fit inside my UPS?  I tend to run my UPS' at close to their maximum
ratings but that means I end up with very little run time.  If I can
extend the runtime I sure will!

What concerned me in the past with doing this is that APC seem to have
encoded knowledge of battery characteristics in their firmware and
unless the particular UPS has external battery connectors it might not
function properly (either not charge correctly or maybe not make full
use of the extended capability).
