I read my mail by sensing magnetic deviance on the hard drive platters.
Beyond that it's all just fancy GUI crap.

And no, I don't *need* to click. In fact I prefer not clicking at all,
having an unnatural dislike for mouse usage. I used to love Netscape for
OS/2, which had a "Links" menu that listed all the hyperlinks visible in
your window, and which was accessable through the keyboard with
Meta-keys, or more importantly, by voice.

Surfing the 'net went something like...

"Pagedown"... "pagedown"... "pagedown"... "links"...
"downdowndowndowndowndowndowndowndownenter"

But anyway, I don't generally have a browser open, and the convenience
of a single click to open a browser and display the page made it worth
asking. Pardon me if I offended you, sir.

I have to admit, I skip most of the URI's people send me because it's
too much effort to wait for a browser window. I'm using a SPARC 20 with
4 50Mhz CPUs innit. It ain't exactly yer Blade 1000.
