Subject: [geeks] Search Engines

Anybody have suggestions for *good* search engine software? Ht://dig has
security problems, so I've disabled it/turned it off as of this morning.
I havent been able to find anything else as "good" yet; so right now the
list search engines are just redirected to Google.

I looked at Excite for Web Servers, but its still verison 1.1, circa
1998. Altavista wants money (and LOTS of it) for their solution, and
Google looks to want a minimum of $599/*month* for them to do it for
me...

Guess its too much to want something for free. 8-)
