Honestly I don't think Roger Moore ever really played Bond. He was in the
Bond movies but he was playing Simon Templar in them, not James Bond. There
was WAY too much silly humor in the Moore films. Bond was always humorous
but the Moore movies almost got into slapstick sometimes.

I'd say Connery, Bond, Brosnan, Dalton.  My first impression of Bond
was Moore, till I later got some of the Connery episodes on DVD.
