Casino Royale. The 'spoof' story, but an actual Bond book. (actually, the only Fleming book I ever read)
It was famous for, among other things, having 5 or 6 directors, and John huston was one of them. They even had Woody Allen writing, back in the 'What's Up, Tiger Lily?' days. they took the original book, and punched it up so that it berely resembles the original, if at all. (been years since I've experienced either the book or the movie)
