Geez, I avoid all editors and simply use "cat - > <filename>", since I don't have coding errors ;^P

Back in the day, I used to simply set the data toggle switches on th efront panel, then increment the address counter and write the character to memory ;^P

You know in this 'holy war' between emacs & vi, they're both second rate. If
you want a truly powerful editor you need to get pico :)
