Thanks!  That's the kind of info you just can't find everywhere.  Everyone
says the 360 heads flow better, with radical cams.  I suppose it all comes
from experience and having been there.  Looks like I've got more research to
do.

I'd love to get a 383 - it will defenitley fit under the hood.  But I'd need
to find one first.  Probably not a problem - this is the northeast and
rusted out hulks are plentiful...

I'd agree with the 4-door comment.  I used to laugh at them too - until I
got totally embarressed by a 4-door Cutlas.  2 doors, 4 doors, it's engine
that matters :)  At any rate, the 4 doors are because I have kids - and I
stole car.  Literally - for $500 in good running condition.  The engine is
all '73 original, never rebuilt or worked on - it is rough, but never been
bored or abused.  The body, is okay, but needs some work.

Much appreciated!  I'll keep my four doors though ;)
