If you can, I'd suggest waiting - better options are always on the horizon. Cell phone usage, with *full* internaet access would be the best interim plan I can think of... You can call it research, see what you actually use and don't use - then see what is available...

And it's only $40/mo. Unfortunately, I don't wanna buy a PalmV. I
wouldn't mind a CFlash option, though. Their so-called nationwide
coverage is barely better than Palm.Net, though. I don't pay for
roaming on my phone, even for data, so I may just go for the phone
option. Seems my phone can't do data, though, but a new phone is
cheaper than many of these other options.
