I wonder if you could jam one of those AXe motherboards into an original IBM AT case - that would be a fun little box ;^)

But ofcourse, that assumes people will come to your house and look at it...

Nah.  My dad had a machine that was an original IBM PC case, original 360K
floppy drives, an upgraded power supply, a 40MB MFM hard drive, a
monochrome video system, and a 386/33 motherboard in it.  It was
"frankenbyte".
