Depending on you location, the OmniSky option is very nice for Palms...
I played with one during their Beta, but found it didn't really do anything for me, so I sent it back for a refund.
Now they are *about* free after rebate with a 12 month contract, and I think the monthly fee is about $35-40/month (maybe $45, not sure, haven't kept up with it really)...

The CTO at my company has one (a Kyocera) - very cool. It even has an SSH
client - so he can do admin stuff from anywhere. I've been thinking that I
need to get a wireless modem for my Palm V - or an attachemnt for my
cellphone (if they even make them). I don't suppose it'll get much past the
"neat-o" factor, but the bragging rights are huge!
