Because the fed's concept of protecting the US has nothing to do with
having systems secure from attack, they only care about being able
to get in to every citizen's home machine. MS can help them with that,
obviously.

Soon enough Windows will analyze all of the documents you work on 
and messages you send or recieve, and generate a "Patriotism Factor"
(1-10) to be sent to a central government server every night.
