SSTV = single-frame low-resolution (320x240, 640x480) television frames
over 1200baud packet radio. APRS = Automatic Position reporting System;
you hook a GPS unit up to a packet transceiver (think "modem for radio"),
and every five minutes or so it broadcasts its location along with your
callsign on a certain frequency. You can use it along with a receiver
and map software on the other end (or anywhere that can hear its signal),
to map the progress of something on a route.
