Pretty certain that you are wrong here.  I had a Q630 that was upgraded to a
601 in the 60-80mhz range.  I never peeked inside of it (my dad did all the
upgrades on that box), but it had both an 040 and a 601 installed, and I
dont think any company produced an upgrade motherboard which came with both,
most just installed alongside the 040.
