This is just my opinion, but it seems that people don't want to hear the
world "mainframe" anymore.  That conjures up mental images of old
machines that *used* to be considered powerful (hey, I'm a collector,
too, and I hate it when people tell me that those older machines just
aren't powerful enough... so don't go getting all evil at me. :)).  Now,
the words "data centre" hold more high tech allure.  As in, the Starfire
boxen are "high end servers" for "mission critical data centre
applications". :)

Or, I could be 100% wrong. :)  That's just what I see from my
perspective.
