Ahh, that *is* cool, but, alas, my interest in the box would probably paralle you experience with it (Set it up, tinker with it, proclaim it as cool, then put it back in the box.).

Just a thought, but you *could*, I guess, set it up as a zero-administration chat server for up to five people, right ;^)

In the right hands, this could be a very useful product - I just don't think my hands could put it to good use...

No - 

The machine only has ONE serial console session, but it allows up to
five people to connect to the *same* console - like having two people
attached to the same "screen" session, if you will.

It also allows for a separate chat window so those five people can talk
about what they see on the shared serial console...

(has one RS232 DB25 port, and one 10baseT RJ45 port...)
