ABSTRACT:

The ptf106 file contains ptf106 - fix to allow more then 999 
print jobs in pr queue. Use this patch only for system which will 
be used for high volume printing. 

SYMPTOM

Printer not accepting more than 999 jobs. It is overwriting the jobs
in the queue after 999 jobs in the queue. 

SOLUTION

The size of the queue has been increased to 999999.  The file .SEQF 
in the directory /usr/spool/lp/temp directory is to be removed to 
ignore the previous setting for max number of jobs allowed 
in the printer queue.

Apply the ptf106 file.


Installation Instructions:

DATATYPE: datastream

1.  Download the ptf106.Z and ptf106.txt files to the /tmp driectory 
    on your machine.

2.  Read the release notes contained in this file.                          

3.  Now become root, uncompress the file and add the package to your 
    system using the following commands:

     $su
     #uncompress /tmp/ptf106.Z
     #pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf106 ptf106
